Baby Bottle Campaign

Finally, a place to put all those loose coins hiding beneath your couch cushions! ;) The Baby Bottle Campaign is a fundraiser that friends and family can help with by filling a baby bottle with spare change. You can also help distribute empty baby bottles to friends, family, businesses, churches, schools, day cares, who ever is willing and have them collect spare change to put into the bottles. All proceeds go directly toward our adoption. You can see how this can be very fun and easy for people to contribute to a good cause. We've already filled two bottles with the change in our house! Details and Instructions:
We already have one Baby Bottle Captain! Thank you Linda! Many, okay most of my friends back home know Linda. If you would like to be on her team, please let me know or contact her. We would love to have a few Captains and we of course need family members and friends to fill bottles too, even if just one.

Baby Bottle Captain: As a Baby Bottle Captain, you are responsible for distributing and collecting baby bottles. Set a specific date for people to get the bottles back to you and write that date on the adoption bottle tag. I'm still trying to figure out a time frame for this campaign. I think we will start with four weeks and see if that is too long, or not long enough.

Out of state Captains: You'll need the Baby Bottle Campaign supplies. I've come up with a few different options.

1. I can send you everything you need. I will ship you the bottles from Amazon since I get free shipping. They come in quantities of 9. I will mail you the letters and tags for the bottles via first class mail (only costs us a stamp). Once you receive everything, just assemble the bottles which consist of putting our letter inside each bottle and adding a tag to each bottle. Super easy! 
2. You can purchase and assemble your own baby bottles. The bottles are available at Target. They are the 9oz Gerber First Essentials Bottle, which are $3.19 for a set of 3. I will email you a .pdf file of the letter and tags which you would print, cut and attach to the bottles. 

Once all the bottles have been collected, cash in the money and mail a check directly to our adoption agency, Colorado Christian Services (CCS). Most grocery stores and banks offer a change counting machine (Coinstar). PLEASE be sure to include ‘Airington Adoption’ in the memo portion of the check so that the money goes into our adoption account.
